Rita A. Flaim (nee Ream), 74

Rita A. Flaim (nee Ream), 74, of Avon Lake passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2012. She was born in Cleveland on March 20, 1938.

Rita loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of two local Red Hat Society Chapters where she enjoyed fun and interesting outings.

Rita is survived by her children Terry (Paula) of Elyria, Donna (Mark) Rohn of Avon Lake, Christine Shonebarger of Vermilion, and Michelle (Raymond) Schmidlin of Lyndhurst.

She is also survived by her grandchildren Shari, Traci, Robert, Gentry, Connor, Hunter and Raymond; great-grandchildren Brianna, Aiden, Alayna, Aubree, and Emma Harrington; brothers Frank of Parma Hts., Richard of Hiram and Larry of Brook Park; sisters, Rosemary Sly of Brooklyn and Helen Funk of Northfield. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert, parents Frank and Anna (nee Charek) Ream and brother Edward.

Friends may call at the Busch Funeral Home, 163 Avon Belden Rd., Avon Lake from 3 p.m. - 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 15.

Prayer service at the funeral home on Monday at 9:15 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at , 32929 Lake Rd., Avon Lake at 10 a.m. with Father Timothy O'Connor presiding.

Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
