Sorry, Sir: No Pants, No Service

The following arrest information was provided by the Avon Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A twentysomething man who was not wearing pants pulled up to the drive-thru window at around 4:45 p.m. on Feb. 11 and exposed himself to the cashier.

The man, who was driving a green Jeep, took off and was gone from the area when arrived.

Asleep at the Wheel

A woman was charged with driving under the influence after an Avon police officer found her passed out behind the wheel of her car while it was stopped at the intersection of Detroit and Jaycox Roads around 12:18 a.m. on Feb. 10.

Chanda Thornton, 33, was arrested. Her car was towed from the scene. 

Lights out

Someone has been yanking out landscape lighting at a home in the 2300 block of Stonewood Street. The most recent incident was the overnight hours of Feb. 12.
