Thieves, Teens and Neighbors Make Trouble
The following arrest information was provided by the Avon Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Two residents – one in the 37700 block of Caroline Drive and one in the 36100 block of Detroit Road – reported to that someone got into their cars during the overnight hours of Feb. 6.
While nothing in the Caroline Drive car was taken, the owner of the Detroit Road car reported that there were items missing. The report did not say what was missing.Â
Risky Business
A teenaged boy on Stoney Ridge Road probably should have stuck to dancing around the house in his underwear to Old Time Rock 'n Roll while his parents were out of town.

Instead, his dad found a bottle of booze and a marijuana pipe in the house when he came home from the trip early on Feb. 6.
After a visit from Avon police, the boy admitted that he had hosted a poker party, but wouldn’t name his poker buddies. The dad destroyed the pipe. And probably any fun plans the boy had for the foreseeable future.Â

Avon Idol
Residents in the 2500 block of Stoney Ridge Road probably wish they got Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez at the front door instead of Avon police after officers were called over loud singing from the home twice in two days.Â
The first time was just before midnight on Feb. 4 and the second was around 1:08 a.m. on Feb. 5.
Police warned the residents they’d be cited if police were called again.
