1. On the hunt for a new house nearby, but tired of browsing through the same old real-estate listings every time you search online? Not to worry! 2. The Avon Early Childhood PTA (AECPTA) is hosting a membership drive/renewal from 6 to 8 p.m. on August 16 at Schwartz Road Park. "The Avon Early Childhood PTA is an organization that offers social and educational activities for families with children age from birth through kindergarten," according to cleveland.com. It’s a great way to connect with other families in the community. You don’t have to live in Avon to join the AECPTA. I highly recommend joining the AECPTA as it is a great organization filled with lots of resources/opportunities for families with young children and a way to meet new families. 3. "The Avon VFW Post 7035 is hosting a car show from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on August 13 at 36950 Mills Road. Twisted Grill & Grind food truck will be on site and all proceeds for food at the event will be donated to Cops for Kids with Autism. Beverages are also available for purchase in the pavilion."
