POLL: Will You Vote For a New Middle School?

Vote on Issue 11 is Tuesday

After all the talking, and comments, the decision on whether or not to build a new comes down to Tuesday's vote.

Voters will decide on Issue 11, a 32-year, $32-million bond issue to build a new middle school. If passsed, the bond issue would cost homeowners an additional $38.29 per year for every $100,000 in home valuation.

The  by less than 200 votes -- 3,903 to 3,726 -- in the Nov. 8 election.

Supporters of the levy had stated that building new is the most cost-effective way of dealing with a growing student population. Those who are opposed say the cost is just too high and adding onto the existing middle school is enough.
