Winds will be from the southwest between 20 and 30 miles an hour with gusts up to 50 miles an hour as a strong cold front comes through the area this afternoon.

The winds mean tree limbs and power lines could come down. Loose objects outside could get blown around and cause damage. Drivers of high-profile vehicles like trucks and SUVs should be careful driving, especially on east-west roads.
