Wind Advisory Until 8 p.m. Friday

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for all of northeast Ohio from 9 a.m. through 8 p.m. Friday.

Winds will be from the southwest between 20 to 30 miles an hour. Gusts up to 55 miles an hour are predicted. That could lead to downed tree limbs and power lines.

After morning fog and light rain, the forecast calls for rain and possible snow showers in the afternoon with a high of 42 degrees. Thunder is also possible.

There could be snow to clear off your driveway on Saturday morning. As temperatures drop to near 30 Friday night, rain will give way to snow showers. A slushy accumulation of 1 to 3 inches is in the forecast.

A bit more snow is possible Saturday as the wind remains strong and the temperatures stay in the low to mid 30s. An inch of snow is forecasted.
