4 New Businesses Opening Soon At Pinecrest

Get to know the restaurants, clothing store and accessories brand that are coming to Pinecrest.

ORANGE VILLAGE, OH — Four new businesses will open soon at the Pinecrest complex.

The four shops opening at Pinecrest are: Kitchen Social, Fount, Sand Pebbles and Clay Luxury Kids.

Fairmount Properties, developers, and operators of Pinecrest, is pleased to announce the addition of four tenants opening soon at Northeast Ohio’s best shop, eat, live, and work district: Kitchen Social, Fount, Sand Pebbles and Clay Luxury Kids.

Kitchen Social is expanding from its Central Ohio-roots and bringing its chef-driven menu to Pinecrest. The restaurant is owned and operated by Brian O'Malley and will offer international and American fare, all prepared and made in-house.

“We are so excited to have the opportunity to bring Kitchen Social to the Cleveland market, specifically Pinecrest,” O'Malley said. "Genuine hospitality served with scratch food and craft cocktails are what make us special. We look forward to making new friends!”

Sand Pebbles will bring Pacific Rim flavors to their meal offerings, using fresh ingredients from farmers markets and seafood delivered daily to the business. Recipes for each dish were influenced by recommendations from friends from Asia.

“Sand Pebbles, currently only in Aurora, is known as one of the best Asian restaurants in Ohio. Pinecrest is fortunate to bring the best in Asian cuisine to Pinecrest this winter to a more than 1400-square-foot space beside of The Candle Studio,” said Rob Clarke, Pinecrest general manager.

Fount will open this month at Pinecrest. The business offers leather bags and other accessories. Fount promises a pop-up shop feel in their 1,000-square-foot space.

“Fount is the epitome of the offerings Pinecrest aims to bring our community, so we are thrilled to partner with Fount to create a home here,” said Adam Fishman, Fairmount Properties Principal.

Finally, Clay Luxury Kids will open prior to the 2021 holiday season. The store offers trendy toddler and school-age apparel. Clay will also host many high-quality brands: Freshly Picked, Tenth & Pine, Doe a Dear, Mini Swagg, ML kids, Haus of JR, Noahs Ark, Melissa, Yo Baby, Orcas & Lucille, Superism, Appaman, Mini Rodini and more.

The Clay Luxury Kids brand was launched by former Northeast Ohio resident Valerie Thomas, now the CEO and founder of Clay. She said coming to Northeast Ohio with her brand is a "dream come true."
