The city and school district also coordinated tax adjustments to ease the impact on residents, while the new building promises brighter classrooms, creative spaces, and updated early childhood facilities still to come.

• Woman makes spectacle of herself during visit to Beachwood Place mall to seek refunds (cleveland.com) — A disruptive customer at Beachwood Place led to police involvement, charges, and a trip to Beachwood jail after she allegedly caused scenes at two shoe stores and ignored orders to leave. The December 15 incident drew attention from shoppers and mall staff and ended with disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing counts.
