Driving While On The Phone
A woman driving along Chagrin Boulevard near Crestmont Cadillac at 3:50 p.m. Monday July 8 was stopped because police saw she was talking on her cell phone while driving. When Beachwood police checked her name for warrants, they found she had an outstanding arrest warrant for North Ridgeville police. She was cited and taken into custody.

A private ambulance struck a Beachwood police car outside Hillcrest Hospital Monday July 8 at 5:10 p.m. The police cruiser was parked and unoccupied at the time of the accident.

A man called police for help at 2 a.m. Friday July 12 when he accidentally locked his keys in his car in the Sushi Rock parking garage. While helping him, Beachwood police checked the man’s name for warrants and found he had an outstanding arrest warrant in Pepper Pike for unpaid fines. The man was taken into custody.
A woman went to Beachwood Police department at 11 a.m. Friday July 12 to make a report and police found that she had a warrant for her arrest from Fairview Park Police. They took her into custody.
Missing Teen Found
At 6:30 a.m. July 5, somebody reported a suspicious car parked on E. Groveland Road. When police checked it out, they found a missing teen in the car who also had an outstanding arrest warrant with Willoughby police.Â
