Beachwood Chamber Of Commerce Partners With The Gathering Place

Beachwood, OH: The Beachwood Chamber of Commerce (BCoC) has partnered with The Gathering Place to be the nonprofit beneficiary of this year’s annual golf outing.

“As an organization, our focus is on helping local businesses and non-profits thrive. To that end, we are pleased to be partnering with The Gathering Place, and will donate 20% of the proceeds raised from this to them,” said Chris Truax, Lake Health Beachwood Medical Center Chief Administrative Officer and BCoC Board Treasurer.

The Gathering Place offers free programs and services to help individuals and families cope with the impact of cancer in their lives.

Chamber Marketing Manager, Lilia Lipps, added “As we mark our 30th anniversary, we celebrate the work we’ve done thus far, and focus on how we can continue to do better. One of the improvements we can make is to be more civic-minded, and that is why we are so excited about this newly forged partnership with The Gathering Place.”

The community can help support this cause by signing up to participate in the golf outing. There are also sponsorship opportunities available. And finally, individuals can choose to visit the event website at BCoCGolf21.givesmart.com to make donations.
