The makers of the brand name pepper spray, Mace, are planning to move the company to midtown Cleveland in August, <a href="http://www.cleveland.com/business/index.ssf/2013/05/mace_security_international_ma.html#incart_river" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">The Plain Dealer reported</a>.   <a href="http://www.mace.com/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Mace's</a> Chairman and the chairman of Beachwood-based Ancora Group, Richard Barone, told The Plain Dealer that he plans to turn the brand around. Ancora owns 40 percent of Mace's stock. Much work has already been done to shed irrelevant investments and business lines.  Mace's new CEO, John McCann of Cleveland Heights, was hired in Dec. 2011, according to Horsham Patch in PA, where the company was headquartered.
