Beachwood Leads Cuyahoga County In COVID-19 Vaccinations
Nearly 85 percent of Beachwood residents have started the COVID-19 vaccination process.

BEACHWOOD, OH — Beachwood leads all of Cuyahoga County in percentage of residents receiving at least one COVID-19 vaccine, the city announced Wednesday.
According to Better Health Partnership data, 84.6 percent of Beachwood residents had started the COVID-19 vaccination process by June 30, 2021.
“Beachwood is a progressive, forward-thinking community,” said Mayor Martin Horwitz. “I am not surprised that our residents believe in the science behind the COVID-19 vaccines. It is wonderful to know that our City has the highest percentage of people who have started the vaccine regimen.”

During the roll-out of the COVID-19 vaccines, Beachwood hosted several drive-through vaccination clinics. Horwitz's office also distributed nearly 200 access codes for the Wolstein Cetner Mass Vaccination Site.
Beachwood was also one of the first cities in Ohio to issue a mask mandate and offer mask giveaways for residents.

COVID-19 vaccines are available throughout Ohio. The Ohio Department of Health maintains a list of COVID-19 vaccine providers, which can be searched online. Any Ohioan 12 or older can receive a COVID-19 vaccine.
