Cedar Road Traffic Problems: Narrowed To 1 Lane

After an overnight traffic accident, crews are trying to repair a utilities problem but that has narrowed part of Cedar to one lane.

BEACHWOOD, OH — Part of Cedar Road has been narrowed to one lane due to utility repairs.

An overnight traffic accident damaged utilities, causing crews to work Wednesday morning on repairing the problems. As a result, Cedar Road east, between 26900 and 27200, is down to one lane, police said.

"Please use caution traveling in the area as workers and police officers will be in the roadway. If at all possible you are asked to take a different route to your destination," police said.

Cedar Road going west is completely open Wednesday morning.

Anyone who needs access to David Myers Parkway will need to use the east driveway at the Peter B. Lewis Aquatic Center at 27300 Cedar Road. That driveway will provide access to all facilities in the complex.

"Again, please use caution in the area and heavy traffic and delays are expected," police said.
