The city of Beachwood is using yard waste to make organic mulch that can be purchased from the City’s Service Center.

Beachwood residents can purchase organic mulch for $2 per bag, which contains two cubic feet of double-shredded mulch.

Our mulch is created in house,” said Dale Pekarek, Beachwood Service Director, on the city's web site. “Brush and logs are collected from the curbside before being recycled into local, organic mulch.”
