
Neither discount stores nor the high end department stores were immume to shoplifters over the past few days.
- One woman was caught trying to steal a T-shirt, cologne and two pair of yoga pants worth $84.95 from Marshall’s on Chagrin Boulevard at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 8. She was charged with theft.
- Two women were caught trying to take nail polish, remover, make up and nail stickers worth $338.50 from Sephora at Beachwood Place at 4:40 p.m. June 8. She was charged with theft.
- One man was caught trying to take three pair of Gucci sunglasses from Saks Fifth Avenue at Beachwood Place at 2:50 p.m. June 9. He was charged with theft.
- A different man was caught trying to take a pair of Luxottica Ray Ban sunglasses worth $150 from Saks Fifth Avenue, Beachwood Place at 5 p.m. June 9. Police found he also had some syringes on him as well. He was charged with theft, possession of drug abuse instrument.
- A man hid four short-sleeved Polo shirts in his pants and tried to take them from Dillard's, Beachwood Place at 12:50 p.m. June 10. The shirts were worth $318. He was charged with theft, resisting arrest, trespassing and an outstanding warrant.
