Police: Man stole perfume and drove away with suspended license
Thursday, Feb. 28, 6 p.m. — Police arrested a man at Saks Fifth Avenue after they say he stole two boxes of perfume valued at $125 each and then tried to drive away with a suspended driver’s license.

Police nab men charged for $6,500 shoplift
Thursday, Feb. 28, 10:10 p.m. — Two men were arrested after a traffic stop at 26200 Cedar Road. Police say Nordstrom security personnel identified one as a man who had just stolen a men’s winter vest and a women’s designer jacket valued at over $6,500. The other man had an active arrest warrant with the Strongsville Police Department.

Drunken driver runs red light with marijuana in car
Wednesday, March 6, 7:07 a.m. — Police arrested a woman and charged her with drunken driving, having an open container of alcohol and possession of marijuana after they say she ran a red light near the Pavilion Mall on Chagrin Boulevard.
Drunken 16-year-old sleeps in mall bathroom
Wednesday, March 6, 7:51 p.m. — Police say a drunk 16-year-old male was discovered sleeping in the restroom of the food court at the Beachwood Place Mall. He was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct and underage consumption of alcohol.
