Five Things People Stole From Beachwood Businesses

Checks:Â
- Wed. Aug. 7, the law firm, Powers Friedman Linn on Chagrin Blvd., reported that somebody took a check from the business used it without permission. The amount the check was written for was $4,267.83.
- Wed. Aug. 7, a resident of the Four Seasons Apartments on George Zeiger Drive reported that somebody took several checks from her outgoing mail. Â
iPhone:Â
A customer of Subway at Beachwood Place Mall told police somebody took his iPhone 5, valued at $600 at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9.Â

A Car:
A car was stolen from Deville Apartments parking lot on Cedar Road some time between 10 p.m. Saturday and 11:30 a.m. Sunday.

Jeans:Â
Two women were arrested on Wed., Aug. 7 for stealing $296 of clothes from Buckle at Beachwood Place Mall. They tried to hide several pair of jeans in a shopping bag with a duct tape lining. Police also confiscated marijuana from the pair when they caught them at the west mall entrance.
Perfume:Â
A woman was charged with shoplifting after steal men’s cologne, women’s perfume and make up worth $109.50 from Sephora at Beachwood Place Friday Aug. 9.
