Five Things Shoplifters Tried to Steal From Beachwood Stores

1. Somebody took a $10 steak from Giant Eagle on Chagrin Blvd. at 5:30 p.m. Monday, July 22, got away before police arrived.
2. In a store full of candy -- at the Sweet Factory in Beachwood Place --Â one thief decided to take a shopper's purse at 9:15 p.m. Friday, July 25.Â
3. A woman tried to take $26 in Sephora-brand lipstick and lip gloss from Sephora in Beachwood Place at 3:20 p.m. Friday, July 26. Â

4. One woman tried to take $168 in moisturizer and eyeshadow pallettes from Sephora in Beachwood Place at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, July 21. Once in custody, police learned she had several warrants for her arrest.
5. A man escaped from Saks Fifth Avenue security in Beachwood Place after trying to steal $440 in merchandise from the luxury store on Friday, July 19.
