Hilton Hotel To Rebrand As DoubleTree By Hilton

The Hilton Cleveland East Beachwood has rebranded and now goes by the DoubleTree in Hilton, according to Sun News.

The rebranding is not simply a name change either.

The hotel has also undergone four years worth of renovations, Brenda Goodnight -- the hotel's director of marketing and sales -- told the newspaper.

Goodnight added that the changes are intended to make the hotel more appealing to families.

Hilton's tend to be associated with downtown, urban locations; DoubleTrees are more tailored for families, she said.

Finally, the hotel is not finished with its transformation.

A new restaurant and lounge concept will be unveiled later this year, the Sun News reported.
