Loaded gun clip found in hotel room

Jan. 8, 6:31 p.m. — Embassy Suites reported that cleaning staff found ammunition in a hotel room and turned it over to police.

Shoplifting suspect flees security

Jan. 8, 8:07 p.m. — Beachwood Place Mall security reported a theft in progress at Gap. The suspect fled without the $184 in merchandise police say she tried to steal.

iPhone stolen from mall kiosk

Jan. 9, 8:50 p.m. — An employee at Fad Friendzies at the Beachwood Place Mall reported that someone stole her cell phone from the kiosk.
