Middle School Harassment A Beachwood woman reported to police on May 9 that her daughter was being harassed by her Beachwood Middle School classmates. Police are investigating. Tire Failure Causes Injury Crash on I-271 A car and a truck were southbound on I-271 on May 9 just before noon when one of the car's tires blew out. The tire problem caused the car to veer into the truck and then spin before it hit a concrete bridge barrier at South Woodland Road. The driver of the car, an 80-year-old Aurora woman, had minor injuries. The driver of the truck, a 24-year-old Norwalk man, was not hurt.  Funny Money Dillard's in Beachwood Place reported to Beachwood Police that somebody bought something from the store with a suspicious $100 bill on May 9 at 3:30 p.m. Police are investigating.
