Police Find Missing Beachwood Man

Investigators found a missing 76-year-old on Friday.

UPDATE: Jake Rox has been found by police.

BEACHWOOD, OH — Police need help finding a 76-year-old man who went missing from a Beachwood care facility on Thursday.

Jake Rox, 76, was last seen leaving his Cedar Road nursing home at 5 p.m. on Thursday. Rox has memory issues and law enforcement said they're "concerned for his safety."

Rox is approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 190 pounds, according to police. He has brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark blue shirt and black plaid pajama pants. A photo of Rox is above this article.

Police believe Rox left the facility in a wheelchair. He is an amputee and is missing his left leg, according to Beachwood Police.
