Neighbors Argue Over Early Morning Car Horn Honking

Neighbors avoid jail in spite of dispute

A Concord Drive resident called police after arguing with his neighbor because the neighbor’s car horn was honking too early in the morning. Police negotiated a truce, but also discovered the person who called police had an outstanding traffic warrant with Shaker Heights police. Shaker Heights police told Beachwood police it wasn’t necessary to arrest him.

Police pulled over a woman for not using her turn signal on Harvard Road at Richmond at 3:10 a.m. Saturday, June 22. When they checked her identification, they found she was driving with a suspended license – for failing to have car insurance. In addition, she had a child in the car who wasn’t properly belted in the seat. She was cited for those violations and taken in to custody for a Cleveland Heights warrant for failure to appear in court.

Cell phone, cash taken from Lifetime Fitness locker

Somebody took a cell phone, $25 and a golf tee from a locker at Lifetime Fitness, 3850 Richmond Road, Sunday at 5:15 p.m. The total value taken was estimated at $425.
