Social media identity stolen

A Beachwood man reported to police on Friday, July 26,  that his identity is being used without his permission on social media.

Somebody tried to open a credit card account under false name. The person whose name was used reported it to police Monday, July 29.

Copper taken from Loft Hotel construction site

Sometime between Thursday, July 25 and Monday, July 29, somebody took $300 of copper pipes from the Aloft Hotel construction site on Eaton Boulevard. A $50 cable was also damaged.
