• Turnpike: Tolls Increasing 2.7% in New Year (whbc.com) — Drivers in and around Berea will see Ohio Turnpike tolls rise about 2.7%, with new per-mile rates taking effect January 1. The Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission, which relies on tolls rather than tax dollars, says the increase funds operating costs and long-term road and bridge improvements while keeping fares among the nation’s lowest.
