• Murder Case Against Elwood Jones Dismissed After 30 Years (wiznation.com) — A long-running murder case tied to a Blue Ash hotel has been dismissed, clearing Elwood Jones after decades on death row. Hamilton County’s prosecutor says modern forensic review and previously unshared evidence no longer support his conviction, and has launched a Conviction Integrity Unit to reexamine possible wrongful convictions. The victim’s family remains upset, and investigators could still pursue new suspects.
