The University of Akron recently sent a list of students who graduated during its fall 2011 commencement. There were six graduates from Brecksville included. They are:
- Tharanga Kandanarachchi, Bachelor of Science in Accounting
- Jacqueline Krist, Bachelor of Science in Education
- Eugene Stasenko, Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems
- Erica Tan, Bachelor of Arts
- Kevin Vastartis, Bachelor of Business Administration
- Michael Yamsek, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
