Bees Soccer Player Allison Stucky Recognized as a High School Player of the Week by National Organization

Allison Stucky, a Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School senior, has been named one of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America’s high school players of the week.

According to the association’s website, this national recognition is a new one that highlights student athletes for “outstanding performances.”

"Allison has great skill and is very competitive and has a rigorous fitness training program. Her technical and tactical abilities are amazing. Only those people with a sophisticated understanding of soccer will appreciate the subtlety of her game,” Brecksville-Broadview Heights Head Coach Tony Niccoli said in an email.

Niccoli said Stucky is a four-year starter for the varsity high school team. She has scored 22 goals with 31 assists during her high school career, earning her the rank of 16 on the list of all-time leading scorers for the team.

Stucky has also been involved in the Olympic Development Program and has played at the regional and national level because of it, Niccoli said.

The association also highlighted Stucky’s 3.7 grade point average. She will attend the University of Illinois next year, where she will play college soccer.

“In order to make her transition to the college game seamless, we will continue to work on raising her tactical awareness and ability to read the game,” Niccoli said in the email.
