City Plans to Buy Tree Canopies With Grant

A city proud of its care for the environment is continuing the cause.
Brecksville was recently awarded a $7,800 grant from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, according to The Plain Dealer.
The city will look at the need for tree canopies for forestry management needs, the paper reported.

“The city of Brecksville is always proactive when it comes to improvements, especially in terms of environmental issues,” Councilwoman Nora Murphy told The Plain Dealer. “As always we expect to use this money to the fullest extent possible.”
The study will look at Chippewa Creek valley and determine what planting should be done.
