Man Arrested After Leading Brecksville Police on High-Speed Chase

He was charged with with failure to comply with the order of a police officer and reckless operation.

A 43-year-old Cleveland man faces a couple of serious charges after he led police a high-speed chase — on his motorcycle — on Oakes Road at around 8 p.m. June 19.

Speeds reached 75 mph, according to the police report.

The Brecksville police officer lost sight of the man, however, several minutes later, officers from the North Royalton Police Department caught with him at a home on Edgerton Road, where Brecksville officers arrested him.
