U.S Census 2010 Figures Show Slight Population Growth in Brecksville

While the increase isn't dramatic, 274 more people were living in the city at the time of the Census than in 2000 -- that's an increase of about 2 percent.

And there's more racial and ethnic diversity in the city than there was in 2000, as well. As shown in the two tables below, the number of people who self-identified as Asian increased by 129 from 2000 to 2010. And 56 more people identified themselves as Hispanic or Latino, regardless of race. More people also identified themselves as being part of more than one racial group.

The number of residents who are above the age of 18 increased, as well, but their percentage of the total population -- nearly 77 percent -- is comparable to 2000's percentage.
