Woman Faces Pot Charge Following Traffic Stop

A 24-year-old Cleveland woman was cited for possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on Interstate 77 at around 1 a.m. April 6.

Police stopped her because the vehicle didn’t have rear illumination, according to the report.

After officers got consent from the woman to search they vehicle, they found a “small, clear plastic baggie containing marijuana.”

Police gave the woman a minor misdemeanor citation.

It was the second arrest for marijuana in the same week.
