Here are the top three stories in Cincinnati today:

  1. Cincinnati Center City Development Corp has announced plans to vacate two streets in Over-the-Rhine to address public safety issues. The two streets will be folded into the park. The Cincinnati City Council approved $3.5 million for the project. Construction could begin next month. (WKRC TV Cincinnati)
  2. Colin Mayfield, co-anchor with Lisa Cooney, will be leaving Cincinnati airwaves. Mayfield will be leaving for WCNC-TV in Charlotte, NC on Wednesday, Oct. 26. His departure will be the third morning co-anchor to leave Cincinnati in the last six months. (WVXU)
  3. Cincinnati's Washington Park will be hosting a fall family fun event on Saturday and Sunday. The event will feature vendors selling crafts, baked goods, and more from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will also be a pumpkin patch and hayrides available. (WLWT Cincinnati)
