Confessions Bar and Restaurant Lounge served hot meals and toys to local kids, while Good Plates Eatery’s Giving Project is set to hand out 2,500 no-questions-asked Christmas Eve meals plus clothes, hygiene items, and books.

Cincinnati friends who met in kidney dialysis treatment share search to find a match (wlwt.com) — Two Cincinnati men who met at a Norwood dialysis center are still searching for a kidney donor for one of them, despite a heartbreaking recent false alarm. After receiving his own transplant, Kenneth Johnson now canvasses Bengals and Reds crowds with “Dave’s Miracle Match” signs, hoping a local living donor will step up and give his friend Dave Harbison a life-saving gift.
