Here are the top three stories today in Cincinnati:

  1. Cincinnati has awarded $7M to nine affordable housing projects to create 266 new affordable units and preserve 142 existing units through renovation. The projects target households making 30 percent to 80 percent of the city’s Area Median Income. Council Member Reggie Harris, the chair of the Equitable Growth and Housing Committee, says the award helps ensure these projects can make an impact in the city as soon as possible. (Spectrum News 1)
  2. Cincinnati police are still searching for a missing, endangered 87-year-old man. Henry Parker is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and dementia, so he may or may not remember his name. Parker was last seen Saturday on Cleinview Avenue after being dropped off from a family wedding. (WLWT Cincinnati)
  3. A Westwood fire has killed two dogs and displaced one woman. The fire was reported by neighbors around midnight. When fire crews arrived, they found the resident had escaped, but her pets remained trapped inside the Westknolls Lane home. (FOX19)
