Here are the top three stories in Cincinnati today:

  1. A shooting in Cincinnati early yesterday morning has left at least nine people injured. Police were called to Main and 13th Streets in Over-the-Rhine to break up a large disorderly crowd. During this process, two groups broke into a physical altercation, at which time at least two people pulled out firearms and exchanged gunfire. Anyone who has witnessed the incident or has additional information is asked to contact the CPD Criminal Investigations Section at 513-352-3542. (WHIO)
  2. On Friday, city leaders met with the local teenagers who were taken into police custody while selling water. The group, formerly known as the "Cincy Water Boys" and now renamed "Brothers N Motion," met with Mayor Aftab Pureval and other city leaders to develop a safer sales plan that does not allow for police interference. The enterprising teens are now part of a year-long youth employment and entrepreneurship program. (WLWT Cincinnati)
  3. The U.S. Treasury Department will soon print minted coins with Harriet Tubman's image β€” and the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center will receive a portion of the proceeds. The Freedom Center will also provide input on coin design. Freedom Center staff hope the proceeds will help boost revenue, which was impacted significantly by reduced attendance amid the COVID-19 pandemic. (WCPO 9 Cincinnati)
