- This fall, another movie is expected to begin shooting in Cincinnati. Filming for "The Bikeriders," which is based on a 1967 Danny Lyon photography book, will bring actors such as Austin Butler, Jodie Comer, and Tom Hardy to the city. According to Film Cincinnati, the film will share the story of a 60s midwestern motorcycle club as it changes from a community for outsiders into a more sinister gang over the course of a decade. - Sunday's first annual Boards and Brews event brought beer and cornhole together for charity. The event raised funds to support People Working Cooperatively (PWC), a nonprofit construction company that performs critical home repairs for low-income homeowners. At the event, nineteen participants competed in a Homebrew Competition and 32 teams of two competed in the cornhole tournament. (FOX19)
- The Cincinnati Zoo announced the gender of its newest baby hippo. According to a press release from the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, zookeepers have determined that the new hippo is a boy. The newest addition to the Hippo Cove was born on Aug. 3 and is healthy. (WLWT Cincinnati)
