Fall is right around the corner! This season is a time to admire the beauty of nature, with the changing leaves, crisper weather and fall fruit and food. There’s no better time than autumn to head outdoors and experience all its beauty, and it can be enjoyed in all of our parks. Luckily, our nature education team, Explore Nature!, has expert Naturalists to show you all the changes that go on in our parks during fall. Below you will see a list of fall programming that you won’t want to miss out on. From fall foliage hikes to Halloween themed events, you’re bound to find an activity that’s perfect for you, your friends and your family.

Moms and caregivers, do you and your toddler need some fresh air? Come catch your breath while enjoying some quality time with your little one. You will both get a taste of nature through naturalist led stories, games, animal encounters and more in a safe a relaxing atmosphere. New theme each week. All outdoors. Severe weather cancels event.

Walk through a pumpkin-lit trail meeting costumed characters from nature and history. This is a non-scary holiday walk best suited to children ages 3-10 years. Make it a family tradition! $8/person, ages 3 & up.
