Here are the top three stories in Cincinnati today:
- On Sunday, the Cincinnati Zoo welcomed three orphaned manatees. The manatees — Calliope, Piccolina, and Soleil — were in critical care at ZooTampa at Lowry Park in Florida and are well enough to start the second-stage rehab care in Cincinnati, according to the zoo. The Zoo has cared for more than 2,000 manatees since joining the Manatee Rescue & Rehabilitation Partnership in 1999. Those looking to meet the manatees can see them this week. (FOX19)
- Cincinnati Pizza Week is returning today, Nov. 7. During the event, residents can take advantage of nine-dollar specials at dozens of restaurants all week throughout the Tri-State and enter to win a grand prize of $300 in gift cards. The event continues through Sunday, Nov. 13. For more information and a list of participating restaurants, click here. (WKRC TV Cincinnati)
- On Saturday, Cincinnati's 45-foot Christmas tree arrived downtown. The concolor fir will be the centerpiece of the city’s holiday celebrations this year, topped with a new five-foot, 40-pound star. Ironworks Artist Jordan Graff and his team at Iron Belle Metal took about four weeks to craft the LED-lighted glass and steel tree topper. (WLWT Cincinnati)
