- On Tuesday afternoon, a disabled FedEx semi truck blocked traffic on the northbound I-71/75. As a result, there was extensive traffic all the way back to the Kyles Lane exit in Kentucky. There have been no injuries reported in relation to the incident. (WLWT Cincinnati)
- Caffeine lovers are jittery with excitement over the upcoming Cincinnati Coffee Festival. On Oct. 23, the whole city will be in for a special event in honor of their favorite beverage. The two-day event will feature master coffee roasters, expert chocolatiers, pastry professionals, and much more. You can even watch latte art be created, and learn how to make your own! Tickets are available through the website, but can also be purchased at the door. (FOX19)
- The Cincinnati Police Department is on the hunt for a woman accused of killing her two children. Last year, Brook Hunter lost her first child as a result of co-sleeping; this is the practice where parents sleep in the same bed or area as their child, which can cause serious injury or death to small children. In June, Hunter's second child died the same way, even after she had been warned against co-sleeping after the death of her first baby. Hunter was indicted on involuntary manslaughter and endangering children charges, and there is currently a warrant out for her arrest. (WCPO 9 Cincinnati)
