Here are the top three stories in Cincinnati today:

  1. A man accused of escaping River City Correctional Center this past March is back in custody. According to court documents, Danny Waters was cleaning the lobby of the correctional center when he left through the front door. Waters is now in the Hamilton County Jail, though officials have not yet released information on how he was caught. (WKRC TV Cincinnati)
  2. A new food hall has opened in Cincinnati's Madisonville neighborhood. Element Eatery, located on Red Bank Expressway and Madison Road, features eight different restaurants and a "Brewstillery." Element Eatery celebrated its grand opening over the weekend, where guests could watch the Bengals game or enjoy a free concert by Chirp. (WKRC TV Cincinnati)
  3. A historic World War II ship will make its way back to Cincinnati this week. LST 325, a 328-foot-long landing ship craft typically on display in Indiana, occasionally travels along the Ohio River. If you'd like to get a closer look at the stationed ship, head over to the Cincinnati Public Landing between Sep. 28 and Oct. 3. (WVXU)
