Here are the top three stories today in Cincinnati:

  1. On Friday, agencies across Ohio — including Cincinnati — responded to false reports of a shooting threat. Princeton High School was put on lockdown due to a report of an active shooter that was found to be a hoax, according to Sharonville police. The school has since been given the all-clear and students were dismissed for the day. (WLWT Cincinnati)
  2. Cincinnati is participating in a nationwide gun violence memorial. To participate, the city is collecting "remembrance objects" from families who have lost someone to gun violence; the objects will be placed in a glass memorial at the National Building Museum in Washington D.C. Objects are being collected today, Sep. 24, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Hirsh Recreation Complex. (WCPO 9 Cincinnati)
  3. Cincinnati's Terrace Plaza Hotel building was sold to new owners recently. This week, the previously vacant building in downtown Cincinnati was sold to Cincinnati Development III LLC, according to the Hamilton County Auditor's website. While the building was once celebrated around the country as a work of art and historic landmark, it had more recently been named one of America's 11 Most Endangered Historic Places by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Plans for the building are not yet known. (WLWT Cincinnati)
