Here are the top five stories today in Cincinnati:

  1. If you’re a fan of the classic Halloween film ‘Hocus Pocus,’ it might be time to schedule a short trip to Sharonville! The cast of the beloved movie will be reuniting at the HorrorHound Weekend at the Sharonville Convention Center, less than a half hour from Cincinnati. Omri Katz, Vinessa Shaw, Doug Jones, and Jason Marsden will be just a few of the cast members available for autographs, panels, and photo ops over the weekend. Other actors attending the event include Ron Perlman, Keith David, Edward James Olmos, and Anthony Michael Hall. (Cincinnati CityBeat)
  2. The astronomical price of diesel gas could soon negatively impact people throughout Cincinnati who don’t even drive. Diesel gas currently runs on average about $2 more than gasoline - a vast difference from when it was a mere .45 or .50 more than gasoline was last year. Even if you don’t drive a diesel vehicle, you could still feel the cash crunch. Semi trucks, which operate on diesel, are responsible for an enormous amount of the goods you see in grocery stores and shopping malls. If diesel prices stay at their current costs, companies will have to increase their prices to deal with the additional expenses. (WCPO 9 Cincinnati)
  3. September marks the beginning of serious fall fun throughout the Cincinnati area. For those who love a little culture, ‘Hamilton’ will be performed at the Aranoff Center this weekend. Looking for some seasonal activities? The Harvest Home Fair, running today through Sunday, offers fun for all ages, including rides, games, and even a parade that the kids will love. And if you want to add some flair to your fall, tomorrow's Pride Night at Kings Island promises to be an unforgettable experience (Cincinnati CityBeat)
  4. A major crash on Ronald Reagan Highway Tuesday night resulted in massive delays that continued to impact commuters through Wednesday. The westbound side of the Ronald Reagan Highway saw multiple lanes being shut down between US 127 and Galbraith Road. Delays ran over an hour for drivers, who were advised by police to find alternate routes. Although the crash has since been cleared and the lanes are being reopened, drivers experienced stop-and-start traffic as far back as Interstate 75. (WLWT Cincinnati)
  5. Beloved megastore Jungle Jim’s International Market has finally made finding your favorite products a little easier. The company has finally added a search option to its website, allowing customers to see in-stock products at both locations and plan their shopping trips accordingly. Although Jungle Jim’s is located in Eastgate and Fairfield, Cincinnati residents know the short drive is well worth it for the over 180,000 products the market sells. (FOX19)
