  1. The holidays are right around the corner, and Greater Cincinnati is celebrating with some seasonal spirits. There are multiple holiday-themed bars in Cincinnati — including Winter WonderYard at Covington Yard and Sippin’ Santa at Tiki Tiki Bang Bang — that will provide a fun background for anyone who loves this season.   2. A teenager was killed early Monday morning after being struck by a vehicle in the 8400 block of Clough Pike. The vehicle that hit 15-year-old Eli Jones is described as a Honda Civic with a missing bumper. It fled the scene going eastbound on Clough Pike. Jones was a 10th grader at Anderson High School.   3. Today at 10:00 a.m., the Cincinnati Opera will be holding an all-ages exploration of the world of opera. The event is a great way to get kids excited about this fascinating art form, with a reading of “When Marian Sang” and an exploration of the life of Marian Anderson, the first Black woman to take the stage at the Metropolitan Opera.
