- Country star Kane Brown is performing a charity concert in Cincinnati today, Oct. 28. The performance will be at Fifth Third Arena and proceeds will be benefitting the McLendon Minority Leadership Initiative. This will be the first concert to be held at the venue since the renovation project in 2018. Tickets start at $50. Click to get tickets. (WLWT Cincinnati)
- The Human Library will be coming to Cincinnati on Nov. 12. This will be the city's first-ever Human Library event. It will be held at All Saints Episcopal Church in Pleasant Ridge from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Participants will be able to "check out" a person to have an honest conversation about a topic that they wouldn't otherwise interact with. Each discussion will be about 30 minutes long. (WVXU)
- Cincinnati's Meals on Wheels program is asking the community to help it feed thousands of seniors this Thanksgiving. The nonprofit is selling pie and bourbon during its Bust a Crust fundraiser. Each purchase will go towards the nonprofits effort to serve one million meals each year. The items will be available for purchase at Xavier's Alumni Building on Nov. 19.
