- Cincinnati Children’s Hospital announced the opening of another hospital location in Montgomery County. The new site, Cincinnati Children’s Centerville, is expected to open in early 2023, providing a range of specialties from gastroenterology and urology to outpatient laboratory services. (WHIO)
- According to Cincinnati police, one man died after his car hit a tree in Fairmount yesterday morning. The driver was going east on the 2100 block of Harrison Avenue when he lost control of the vehicle, drove off the side of the road, and crashed into a tree. The man was going over the speed limit while not wearing a seatbelt; however, officials aren't sure if he was under the influence. (FOX19)
- The father of a Taft High School student is accused of bringing a firearm onto school grounds. Antonio Gunn reportedly found out his daughter was in a fight, so he walked onto the school property with her, displaying a gun on his hip. The incident happened in front of 70 students who were alarmed and ran through the street. Gunn was charged with inducing panic, according to court records. (Subscription: The Cincinnati Enquirer)
