- A collection of Northside Cincinnati residents has created a group focused on improving pedestrian safety. The group's formation was a response to the city's dramatic increase in pedestrian-involved crashes that occurred in 2021. Nearly 50 people were seriously injured or killed in 2021, according to the City of Cincinnati. The Northside Community Council has met with the Cincinnati City Council and the mayor to propose solutions for pedestrian safety issues. (Spectrum News 1)
- There has not been any evidence of voter intimidation in Hamilton County, so far. The county's Board of Elections reports that preparations have been made in case voter intimidation does occur. There will be bipartisan election officials at each polling place with police on standby if needed. The county's election officials have been given de-escalation training as well as security training. (WVXU)
- The U.S. Ambassador at Large for International Religious Freedom traveled to Cincinnati on Friday. Ambassador Rashad Hussain met with members of civil society and faith-based communities during his visit. He traveled to Crestview Hills, Kentucky the day before. (State.gov)
