  1. Cincinnati Children’s reports that it is prepared for an increase in RSV cases. Officials report they are not concerned about a bed shortage due to practices obtained through the COVID-19 pandemic. Parents are asked not to take children to the emergency room when symptoms can be handled by a specialist or a primary care doctor. There is no vaccine for RSV, but residents are encouraged to get the flu shot. (Hamilton Journal News)
  2. The Hamilton County Prosecutor has announced the indictment of a local teen for a variety of charges that includes murder, felonious assault, kidnapping, abduction, burglary, and evidence tampering. Michael Madaris, 16, will face a possible life sentence if convicted. The charges stem from multiple incidents last year. The teen is being held at the Hamilton County Youth Detention Center on $8 million bail. (WLWT Cincinnati)
  3. The group of Cleveland.com writers has revealed their All-Ohio team in anticipation of the Cincinnati Bengals playing the Cleveland Browns. The two Ohio teams will be playing each other on Monday, Oct. 31, at 8:15 p.m. at FirstEnergy Stadium. The All-Ohio team is led by Bengals quarterback Joe Burrows. (Subscription: Cleveland.com)
