🌱 Scuba Santa Visits + Shots Fired Near County Prosecutor's Home

Here are the top three stories today in Cincinnati:

  1. Cincinnati's Newport Aquarium will be celebrating the holiday season with Scuba Santa. Father Christmas will begin his aquarium dives tomorrow and will continue through Dec. 24. The aquarium will feature holiday lights, playful penguins, and magical bubbles during the celebration. Scuba Santa visits are free with admission. Visit details can be found here.   2. The Hamilton County Juvenile Court judge race will be heading to a recount. The difference between the two candidates is only 179 votes. The difference is less than 0.5 percent – the threshold for an automatic recount. The recount will be performed on Nov. 30 at 8:30 a.m. (Subscription: The Cincinnati Enquirer)
  3. Police are investigating gunshots which occurred near a Hamilton County prosecutor's home. The incident occurred in Green Township last Friday shortly after midnight. The street has not been identified due to safety and privacy concerns. It is unclear if the prosector's home was hit during the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Green Township Police Department. (Fox 19)
